Revised edition (as stated upon title page). 223 pages. Hardcover: H 19cm x L 13.25cm. Black leatherette spine with greenish-blue pebbled cloth boards; spine chipped at heel with shallow wear at head; spine lifting away from underlying back-strip because of lengthwise slender surface loss at front joint; small losses along rear joint; some loss/flaking to spine's gilt lettering; boards stained/soiled with light wear at bumped corners. Soiling/fading to orange text block edges. Youthful ink signatures/inscriptions of Camden, Alabama resident Rufus H. Kilpatrick (eventually Dr. Rufus Hall Kilpatrick, 1860-1925, of Mobile) on text block edges and several initial and rear leaves along with other pencil/ink notes, marks, etc.; some pencil markings within first chapter but text leaves otherwise only marred by varied foxing and a few stains. Uncommon bookseller ticket for J.K. Randall, Mobile, Ala. affixed at front pastedown's top left. Hinges and text block are still firm.
