Condition: Fair. 1953. First Edition. 535 pages. No dust jacket. Grey cloth with gilt decoration and lettering. Pages are lightly tanned at the edges, with light foxing. Occasional thumb marks to pages edges. Binding has remained firm. Boards have moderate shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are notably crushed. Splits to head of spine. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
