unbound. Gorgeous signature -- "H.G. Otis" -- with title on a 3 x 5.25-inch piece of paper removed from a document, with the embossed seal dated 1826 still attached. Uneven corners from a previous mounting; good condition. One of the most important leaders of the United States' first political party, The Federalists, and one of the wealthiest men in Boston with a net worth of $800,000 -- equivalent to $6.5 billion today.
