First American edition. First American edition. Signed by Peter Brook on first blank page, inscribed to former owners "For Jane and Bob with many wishes Peter Brooks 1973." [ii], 141, [3] pp. Bound in publisher's cream cloth, front stamped in blind, spine lettered in red, red topstain, black endpapers. Near Fine, slightly toned with age, binder's error left paste down miscut and slightly protruding from fore edge, in Very Good+ dust jacket with a little sunning to spine, light shelf wear, tiny tear to back panel, small scratch there as well. The classic book on the theatre by the acclaimed British theater and film director. Rare signed.
