A very scarce promotional pamphlet for CBS, designed by Ben Shahn under the direction of William Golden.Golden was a pioneering of advertising, designing the CBS logo and working as the creative director of advertising and sales promotion for CBS.Shahn at this time was a commercial artist for CBS, and produced other promotional pamphlets for the network. He is known for his works of social realism, his left-wing political views. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart, with light edge wear. Large tear to the tail of the spine. A couple of light handling marks. Internally, unbound as issued. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good. book.
