Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. The 1927 1st English language editon, including its uncommon pictorial dustjacket. Over 300 crisp black-and-white plates, demonstrating the incredible complexity of the highest levels of decorative iron work. Solid and VG (light spotting at the panels and edges) in a bright, VG dustjacket, with very light fraying and rubbing along the spine and its ends, very light creasing and chipping to the panel edges and mild soiling at the rear panel. Tall quarto, with an "historical Introduction by Otto Hoever". The periods examined are Gothic, Late Gothic and Renaissance, and Baroque and Classical.
