Condition: Good. 9999. No Edition Remarks. 312 pages. Dust jacket over brown cloth with gilt lettering. Volume III. Black and white photographic plates and illustrations. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking and staining to gutters, slightly exposing netting; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 3 Volumes, very good plus matching hardbacks, publisher's original dark leatherette bindings with bright gold gilt lettering to the spines. Appear unused and NOT FROM A LIBRARY, plus completely clean from any former owner markings. Undated, but circa 1950, as we had another set (that sold), and they were dated August 1956. Probably this set are 1st Editions. .
