Booklet. Condition: Good/Very Good. Undated , mid 19th century. One of a series of 16 publications. pp 8 with an illustration on each page, four of which have been hand-coloured. Little used. A scarce piece of ephemera Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 4th Edition. Hardback with red leather spine and paper-covered boards. Fourth edition revised "with numerous emendations and additions". Undated. 219pp. Engraved views of cities appear on 12 plates, with three views to a plate. Two other plates show the Earth and Europe. The cities agree with those on the list of plates, so are assumed complete although they don't correspond to the page numbering. Leather cracked at hinges, but binding sound. Gilt spine titles and decorative bands are bright. Paper of the boards is markedly rubbed and soiled. Front fep has been neatly removed. Ownership names to front pastedown and the half title. A water stain affects the prelims and occasional foxing found throughout. A few pencil annotations, else essentially clean internally. Corner creasing to some pages confined to the margins. An fair to good copy overall. Pics available on request.
