Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. Sturdy, still tightly bound softcover copy, minor wear of illustrated covers, less to text-block, but with neither underlining nor highlighting. Perfectly readable, usable copy. French language text, black-and-white and full color illustrations galore. 71 [5] pp. A prolific cartoon artist from 1959 until his death, Jean-Marc Reiser made his debut in the publication La Gazette de Nectar for the Nicolas winery. His Wikipedia entry notes that his work is loathed by some, loved by others, that "at a 2004 exhibition of his works in the Centre Pompidou, the entrance displayed the warning 'Beware! Some of the exhibited pictures could hurt the feelings of several visitors.'"Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
