The name W Taren Fehensfeld has been recorded on the 1940 census as being in Maryland. This work also brings discussion on the technical terms used for books such as catchwords and signatures. Robertson delves into many aspects of laguage such as abbreviations. David Steel answered this work in his 'Remarks on an Essay'. Joseph Robertson was known as a prolific critic.
