Dark green cloth over beveled bds w/ ornate black & bright gilt dec & lettering on front cover. Moderate edgewear to exterior including loss to bottom 2" at foot of backstrip. Green eps. Binding gauze showing along bottom half of front hinge, but both front & rear hinges remain sound. Front & rear endpapers with vertical mis-folding lines. Textblock itself complete, intact & unmarked, overall VG+ or better. Beautifully illustrated w/ large, full-page etchings in b&w / browntone, with tissue guards. Unpaginated. Folio, 25 original etchings with tissue guards and associated letter press. Original cloth stamped in elaborate black, blue and gold. Some wear to extremities, internally excellent. First edition thus ( includes the 15 etchings from Ritchie's earlier "Etchings by French artists". All etchings present and in very good state.
