"Your esteemed order through Messrs. Kennedy & Co. I shall greatly appreciate".Etcher and illustrator Jack Hewer [b. circa 1889] lived in Halifax, England. He exhibited in the 1920s at the Royal Cambrian Academy, the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and the Royal Scottish Academy. In 1931 the Shakespeare Head Press at Oxford published a collection of the novels of the Bronte sisters with 32 illustrations by Hewer.
