A 1st print (stated) of a late 1950s MacDonald suspense novel, filmed in the early 1960s as Cape Fear starring Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum. Black boards eighth bound in tangerine cloth with brown lettering. $3.50 price at the bottom of the fron…t DJ flap. The DJ presents reasonably well however has a closed tear running 4" down from the top right spine hinge and then across the front panel almost to the flap fold. There is another closed tear running 3" down the front flap fold. Small loss across the top of the front panel. The internals are clean and tight. Overall a good to very good copy.
