Damp stain to the pages in the back that starts out covering half the page but quickly diminishes and fades out by page 76. The binding glue has dried and is starting to split at page 75/76. Page 75/76 is loose and laid in. Mild spine lean. Other than that the internals are clean and tight. Lightly browned pages. Still a good copy.

Light spotting to the endpapers with a name in pen to the rear free endpaper. Quite heavy spotting to the half-title page and the equivalent page at the back of the book. Light spotting to the title page and the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. No jacket. First printing.

The jacket has some chipping to the edges with small pieces missing at the top of the spine and at the top right corner of the front pane. There are a few small closed tears along the top edge of the front panel with some associated creasing. Quarter inch piece missing from the top right corner of the rear flap. First printing.

The DJ presents reasonably well however has a closed tear running 4" down from the top right spine hinge and then across the front panel almost to the flap fold. There is another closed tear running 3" down the front flap fold. Small loss across the top of the front panel. The internals are clean and tight. Overall a good to very good copy.
