Hardcover. First Edition. Octavo, 297 pages, [3] ads. In Very Good condition. Dark green cloth with gilt lettering on spine and front cover. Boards show light rubbing, spine cocked, and small stain on front cover. Text block shows foxing to interior and ffaint inscription of previous owner on front free end page. Signed flat by Maugham on half-title page, with hand-written quotation marks around the title, then 'by [signature]'. Shelved in Case 2. 1288661. Shelved Dupont Bookstore.
