Rare first edition signed by the author on the author's armorial bookplate attached to flyleaf " "To Faith With the author's love and envious admiration PCWren" with brown ink. 8vo Red cloth stamped in gilt. 464 pages plus 4 page publisher's list of titles for sale at back. On page facing title page are list of his other books and written in ink is "I think Boston U. has my copy of this" beside "Beau Geste", also "This is dedicated to me and is in Boston" beside "Valiant Dust" otherwise clean. Spine faded some with some wear and loss at top of spine and small spot on spine edge. Good condition without dust jacket.
