First Edition. First edition of the author's first commercially published book, 8vo, pp. [8], 55, [1]; publisher's tan cloth lettered in green on upper cover and spine, lacking the dust jacket; some spotting to the covers, some toning of the text; a good sound copy. From the library of Kim Merker. Merker himself published Kees's Collected Poems at the Stone Wall Press in 1960. In this copy there are a number of light pencil annotations, almost certainly by Merker, used in preparation of that edition.
