1st Edition. 14.8 x 22.5 cm red boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, 138pp with black and white illustrations by Brian Forbes throughout. In original clipped dust jacket. The boards are clean with bright titles. Internally without name, inscription or bookplate and just a hint of spotting to the edge of the text block. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) has a few light marks with some spotting to the flaps, but is is bright and without fading. There is rubbing to the edges, spine tips and corners with loss of up to 3mm at the head of the spine and a few short closed tears with associated creasing mainly along the top edge. An unusual combination of cookery book and erotica in a striking dust jacket. Red linen boards with gilt titling to spine, light bump to one corner and a little light flecking to page top edges only. Plain end-papers, importantly with no signature or inscription. Clean throughout (138pp.) with no marks. Firm binding, height: 10 in. Dust jacket is clean and bright with wear to spine top and bottom area along with slight creasing to top edge and a little wear to front flap fold (see pic). Unclipped, with the rather eccentric, one pound sixty-two and a half pence price, bracketed with (32s. 6d.). Genuine cuisine recipes: "for those whose cordon is not yet truly bleu but who at least like to eat occasionally.".
