First Edition
Condition: Good. 1932. First Edition. 288 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Contains black and white illustrations. Moderate tanning, with light foxing and marking to pages. Cracking to front hinge, with exposed netting. Front endpaper is missing. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Binding remains firm. Boards are slightly bowed and tanned.

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Black cloth hardcover with some minor wear to spine ends, and bumped corners, plus some patchy loss of colour to boards. One library printed stamp inside cover (Star Library (Bow branch) 123, Roman Rd. E.3.), but none of the usual lending library labels. Quite clean interior with 288 pages extensively and attractively illustrated with diagrams and drawings. Published in 1932 this 1st edition is in good possibly very good condition.
