Originally published in hardcovers by Collins in 1946. The spine has some reading creasing and a one inch closed tear at the bottom next to the front cover. There is a three inch crease across the bottom left corner of the back cover and the covers have some surface creasing with a little yellowing to the back cover. The pages are browned but otherwise unmarked. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.

Originally published in hardcovers by Collins in 1946. The spine is rolled. The covers are a little worn at the edges with scattered brown spotting over the white areas of the front cover. Dark spotting to the page edges. The pages are browned with brown marks to a few pages and creasing to the bottom corners of three pages but otherwise unmarked. First printing.
