Previous owner has written on the front cover else no other writing on or in the book. Light wear. VERY GOOD.

Embossed grandfather clock to the front board. Slight soiling to the boards. An old price now rubbed out to the front end paper, leaving a neat indentation. Slight soiling to the front edge of the reverse of the frontispiece. Otherwise a very clean and tight copy in very good condition.

Book with moderate covers wear, one leaf at front loose and laid-in; missing three pages of California Views. From the view of his home I would say that the San Francisco Fire Chief was well paid. GOOD.
