Illustrated with 203 figures mostly in the text and some full page, some spotting to the first few pages. Original pictorial front card cover and rear advert cover present, light rubbing to edges. Now bound in a recent 1/4 cloth over paper covered boards. The authors object in the present work is to give a lucid description of the various processes (chemical and mechanical) employed in the art of Pyrotechnic. Illustrated with wood engravings showing the tools apparatus required, the fireworks in situ manufacture etc.

An interesting item.
