[ix], 38pp. and black and white drawings in the text (it is possible that a half-title page and frontispiece are missing but it is difficult to tell from the binding). This book is the result of many years of research by the author who was Honorary Representative of the Royal Life Saving Society. Whilst this booklet is principally written with Zambia in mind, most of its contents is of general application. It includes sections on Avoiding Snakes an Snakebites, Snakebite Identification, Measures to be Avoided, Pressure Bandage, Antivenom, Recovery Position, Summary of Snakebite Treatment, and Resource Material. The booklet is bound in the original red card covers with white titling on the front. It is in good to very good condition with noticeable shelf wear to the covers and rubbing to the corner tips and spine ends. The contents are secure and clean and the author has inscribed and signed the title-page. Signed by Author(s).
