Drame en Cinq Actes et Six Tableaux. Paris: La France Dramatique au Dix-neuvieme Siecle, 1842. Series edited by C. Tresse. Large octavo, original printed yellow wrappers. First Edition. The first performance of this dramatic adaptation of Dickens' Nicholas Nickleby was given on January 29, 1842, at Le Theatre de l'Ambigu-Comique, Paris. Wrappers soiled and chipped. Interior fairly clean. Apparently from the Estelle Doheny collection, as insert is marked in their coding system. An extremely scarce item, and just a must have for the Dickens specialist.
