These subjects are taken up under two aspects: first, the facts illustrative of the process of evolution are presented and, second, the various theories of this process are stated and criticized. The book concludes with two champers, one on "The Formula of Evolution" and the other on "The Philosophy of Change. Condition: Corners rubbed through to boards, front fore edge rubbed through, spine ends moderately rubbed with some splits, hinges rubbed else a good copy.
