The original colours, including silver and gold paint, remain bright and fresh.Dated in the plate.The lifelike scaly sheen created by the use of a delicately applied varnish of gum arabic unfortunately is not captured by the camera but adds greatly to the visual appeal of these fine prints.A wonderful fish print for framing and display.Fine condition, free of repairs or restoration.Approx. 8" x 4.5"(200mm x 120mm) to the plate-mark, as displayed in the image provided, with good margins beyond.Printed on heavy grade wove paper, blank verso.
