Agenda is a literary journal published in London and founded by William Cookson. The magazine was created in 1959, after Cookson had met Ezra Pound in Italy the previous year and became notable for its focus upon the art of translation. This collection contains Volume 2: No. 5, 6, 9 & 10, Volume 3: No. 4, and Volume 4: No. 3 & 4. With contributions from poets, translators, and reviewers including: Hugh MacDiarmid, Noel Stock, Edmund Gray, Alan Neame, Virginia Maskell, Peter Russell, William Cookson, Theodore Roethke, Ian Hamilton, John Berryman, Anne Halley, Naomi Replansky, Anne Sexton, James Wright, and Peter Dale, amongst others.
