(5) pages of text with 5 hand-colored engravings. Etchings by Brooke Schnabel. Private printed in an edition of only 30 numbered copies signed by Charles Simic and Brooke Schnabel. Fine in fine clamshell box. With a print-out email from Brooke Schnabel to Michael Broomfield stating that even though her website stated 35 copies, the correct number is 30 copies. Composed in Monotype Dante by Michael and Winifred Bixler of Skaneateles, New York. The five etchings to accompany each poem were printed on Arches papers and hand-colored by the artist in Florence, MA. The typography and letterpress printing were executed at Kat Ran Press by Michael Russem in Florence, MA. The boxes were made by Sarah Creighton in Eashapton, MA.
