Trotz vieler Details - so lobt Richard Seyfert (damals noch Volksschullehrer, später dann sächsischer Kultusminister und Professor an der Technischen Hochschule in Dresden) - sei das Besondere gerade dieser Bildserie, "dass immer das Charakteristische und Wesentliche einer Arbeitsstätte betont" sei.
