Publisher's original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine and the authors facsimile signature to the upper board, in the Karen Preus and Abraxas Studio illustrated dustwrapper. Illustrated with three tipped-in colour plates and drawings in black and white throughout by David Brian Erickson. A fine copy, the binding square and firm with light bumping at the base of the spine. The contents are clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps. Complete in the lightly creased dustwrapper, that is a touch toned to the spine and otherwise free from loss or tears. The first book in The Coscuin Chronicles, which was originally published in 1971 by Walker and Company. The book has a faint skew to the binding, very slight bumps to spine ends and upper cover corners, and a very small spot near head of fore edge of about 40 pages of text block, otherwise a solid, tight VG+ copy in VG dust jacket, which has very slight bumps to spine ends and corners with a short creased tear at base of front hinge, a touch of edgewear, and some rubbing with a couple very small smudges.
