Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Grey cloth over pale green boards (minor fading and wear; slight browning to text). 86 pages. Author's inscription reads: 'Respectfully Submitted By the Author Berlin, Feb. 48'. Apparently printed in Berlin about this time, this book is a collection of essays on (largely) Chinese culture and history. Ting appears to have been a representative in Europe of some sort of the Chinese Nationalist Government during WWII and its aftermath. The book includes accounts of events in China during the Japanese occupation. Drawings in Text.
