Green cloth with lighter green lettering to spine and front board. Colour frontis behind loose tissue by A. H. Fish, with five b&w plates by M. Blood, all present. Signed by Leacock at half-title and dated November 30 1921. First British edition, a review copy presumably issued just before initial publication with publisher's compliments blindstamped to title page. Very good in fair dust jacket, scarce in any condition, but with several areas of loss at spine and other corners, some grubbiness, stains and chips. Cloth relatively clean and bright, corners and tips a touch rubbed. Binding tight. Top edge dusty, other edges a touch spotted. Internally mostly clean, some offsetting and occasional spots to contents, the plates usually fine. An attractive copy, scarce with the jacket or signed, especially so with combined attributes.
