There is a 1 1/2" chip loss to the leather at the head of the spine. Wear to corners and extremities along with some surface wear/scuffing to the boards. Inner hinges split with front cover nearing complete detachment, but binding firm. Loose flyleaves. Small abrasion to the front flyleaf. Dark toning to the edges of the paste-downs and endpapers. Pages have foxing, toning and stains throughout but is light and does not affect text. Cotains vi, [ii], 40, 351, [1]pp. Including a 40 page Historical Sketch of Ireland.
