No Jacket. 1st English ed. short title series list+286+15 (1929 dated Int.Library Psych., Phil. & Sci.Method catalogue); heraldic University College of North Wales label centre front pastedown with lib.number etc, very faint browning to endpapers, lib.number top verso t.p., very occasional small oval lib.stamps to bottom outer corners, otehrwise internally clean, tight & unmarked,; covers generally clean and unworn, very slight faint surface rubbing in a few places, white lib.number lower spine. A very acceptable reference/working copy of this fairly scarce work in the series, Despite what it says on t.p. there does not appear to be a Preface by Lalande. The author died in 1924 aged 31.
