Glue residue on FFEP, likely from old bookplate. Pages toned but clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is not price clipped, but it does have missing chips at the upper two front corners, a missing chip on the spine above the "O" in Foundry, and small, missing chips at each spine end. Chipping along upper edge of rear panel, as well. Halper's follow-up to Union Square, set among factory workers, is notable as a piece of proletarian literature, and one of the high points of Halper's literary career. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book.
