Condition: Fair. 1957. 2nd edition. 240 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt titles to spine. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are quite crushed and rubbed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is dulled and worn.

Hardcover. First Edition, First Printing. 5.5 x 8.75in. 240pp. Publisher's cloth boards. VERY GOOD in Very Good dust jacket protected in a removable archival cover. The book itself shows marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, blank endpaper with a former owner name, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. The dust jacket shows the head and foot of the spine with slight losses, corners with shallow losses, back panel somewhat shelf rubbed, otherwise remains bright and distinct. As pictured.
