The book has been hand signed, inscribed & dated by actor Fredric March on the front free end page in black ink. The book comes with a certificate of authenticity. There is a stain on the back end pages and on a few pages on the top. The boards are in good minus condition with light wear and a stain on the top back. The binding is tight and square.     Condition: Very good. Very good. - A 3-1/8 inch high by 6 inch wide sheet of light teal paper from an autograph album signed in full "Franchot Tone" in red ink under a small portrait clipped from a periodical. The sheet is also signed in red ink on the verso by Fredric March under a small portrait clipped from a periodical. There are binding stab marks along the inner edge of the sheet and both autographs are further identified in black ink along the top of the pages. Very good. The American actor, producer, and film, stage and television director Franchot Tone (1905-1968) was known for his leading roles in the 1930's and early 1940's. As a leading man he was known for his gentlemanly sophisticated roles. He went on to play supporting roles in the 1950's. He starred in many genres from romantic leads to noir films and World War I movies. On television, he had roles in "The Twilight Zone" and "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour". He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor, along with his co-stars Clark Gable and Charles Laughton, for their roles in "Mutiny on the Bounty". He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The American actor Fredric March (1897-1975) was one of Hollywod's most celebrated stars of the 1930's and 1940s'. He won Academy Awards for his roles in "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and for "The Best Years of Our Lives". He was also nominated for "The Royal Family of Broadway", "A Star is Born" and "Death of a Salesman". March also starred in "Death Takes a Holiday", "The Barretts of Wimpole Street", "The Dark Angel", "I Married a Witch", :Anna Kerenina", "Executive Suite", "The Bridges at Toko-Ri", "The Desperate Hours", among many others, with his final appearance in "The Iceman Cometh" in 1973.

Theyare accomplished in style and very attractively done. 2 are signed on the rear, one with his Detroit address and a note that they were done from photographs. He had sent each drawing to the subject and they had returned them signed - the one of Fredric March reads 'To Donald Weeks congratulations Fredric March and to Helen Hayes 'Donald. Best wishes Helen Hayes 'the one of Florence Eldridge is simply signed, Mischa Aver is signed Fredric March (born Ernest Frederick McIntyre Bickel (1897 - 1975) was an American actor, regarded as one of Hollywood's most celebrated stars of the 1930s and 1940s. Florence Eldridge (1901 Ð 1988) was an American actress married to Fredric March. She was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play in 1957 for her performance in Long Day's Journey into Night. Mischa Auer (born Mikhail Semyonovich Unkovsky; 1905 Ð 1967 was a Russian-American actor who moved to Hollywood in the late 1920s. He first appeared in film in 1928. Auer had a long career playing in many of the era's best known films. Helen Hayes MacArthur (ne Brown; 1900 Ð 1993) was an American actress. Often referred to as the "First Lady of American Theatre", she was the second person and first woman to win the EGOT (an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award), and the first person to win the Triple Crown of Acting.
