Born in 1956, Nish spent fifteen years as a soldier in the British Army. He served in the Falklands, throughout Central America and in Northern Ireland in the early 1980s, where he wasawarded the Queen's Gallantry Medal for acts of 'exemplary bravery'.Nish was also a renowned skydiver with a love for crosswords and everything airborne.
