Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. An extremely nice copy of the author's very scarce first book and winner of the Edgar Award (1963). The book is in pristine, unread condition without a mark inside or out. The DJ is bright and clean with normal edge wear, but has a 3/4" square piece missing in the front, lower right corner and chipping to the top of the spine. Still a very presentable copy of a scarce award winner. Photos on request.
