Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 21 x 28 cm. Green illustrated boards, red cloth spine. A unique board book with 6 pages showing 12 faces which can be mixed and matched with eyes, noes, and mouths that are housed in en envelope affixed to inside of front cover. Envelope holds 47 pieces, I believe it is missing one piece. Bit of scuffing to the cover. The directions read: "The Features of the faces in this book are cut from the heavy board leaves and are of proper shape and bevel to fit snugly into any of the holes of the different leaves. The page must have be laid properly and not to push them through. When removing them, press them up from the under side. The features may be used over and over again in any and all of the faces. Try putting the Clown's features into the Indian's face, and much amusement is to be had in finding the proper features for the different faces.".…

Litho on board. Six (6) pages each with illustrations of children, animals, toys, flowers and birds with die-cut holes where the faces belong. An envelope is affixed to the inside front cover that contains allthe faces. The faces are cut to the proper size and bevel to fit into the appropriate hole. Each page is titled with rhyming narrative at base relevant to the the illustration. The titles are Guess Who, Flower Children, In Toyland, Playtime, Farmyard Friends and Woodland Friends. All faces are present and fit in place. Measures 8 1/4" x 11". Book near mint. Housed in original box. 1 1/4 aprons lacking from box top; other aprons crushed and separated. …
