Limited edition of only 300 copies. Inscribed and SIGNED on the verso of the dedication page "To my dear Rose King, these / fifty year-old poems of / my youth. // Norman Hill / La Horace, a Monts, I & L. France / 10.5.59" One manuscript correction by the author changing the word "witches" to "warlocks." Rose King might possibly be the actress (1884-1967), but no confirming information. Founded in 1906 at Ranworth Hall, near Norwich, by Maurice Browne, Harold Monro, and others, with the objective of publishing attractive and moderately-priced works of a transcendental nature, chiefly poetry, by young, aspiring, and little-known authors. The press moved to Cranleigh in 1906 at which point Arthur Sabin got involved with the hand printing. He moved into a post as a Keeper at the V&A in 1909 and printed some titles under the Temple Sheen Press imprint, and in 1922 became keeper of and transformed the Bethnal Green Museum for which he is best known. The Samurai Press published 30 books during its lifetime, some of which were hand-printed on the press that was later to be used by Douglas Pepler and Eric Gill at St. Dominic's Press at Ditchling. Nouvelle édition de cet ouvrage important qui tient à la fois du récit de voyage personnel et du guide à l'usage d'autres visiteurs : c'est en 1616 que le juriste néerlandais (ou thuringien) Joost (ou Just) Zinzerling fit paraître pour la première fois ce compte-rendu d'un long voyage de plusieurs années à travers la France, l'Angleterre, les Pays-Bas espagnols et les Provinces-Unies. Ces notes rectificatives de Paul de Fleury furent publiées en 1880. Le présent manuscrit présente quelques corrections et des feuillets additionnels collés.
