Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First edition, with no further printings stated. Boards show wear to corners and spine ends; binding tight; pages clean. Married to unclipped ($3.00) dust jacket that shows some spine fading. Autographed by both Red Grange and Ira Morton on a Kroch's Bookstores Chicago bookplate tipped to front endpaper (presumably shortly before Kroch's closed its Chicago location in 1953 and merged with Brentano's). Grange remains acclaimed as perhaps the greatest player in the history of college football; he was a charter member of both the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame. A surprisingly uncommon book signed. 180 pages. Signed by Author(s).
