The 'Hitchcock Edition' in matching red cloth showing sharp tips, lightly rubbed head of spine cloth and one foot of spine just peeking through. Each vol shows a pair of gilt ruled black/gilt title 'boxes' on spines. TEG, others uncut, some pages unopened. Bright gilt huntsman holding his top hat in the air on cover. Lovely uniform set of this very rare Paul Brown collectible trio showing sharp tips and lightly rubbed spine heads, else, straight, square and sharp. First Derrydale Edition, Limited to 750 sets, this being set number 741. Signed by David Gray on the half title page of Vol. I. Three full page plates by Paul Brown in each volume. The Century set are about vg in decorative cloth, with one cracked hinge. All three are inscribed to Titine Hitchcock, who is referred to once as his aunt and twice as friend. The three volume Hitchcock editions are vg; volume one is signed as issued. #4/750 sets. This edition is named after, and dedicated to, Thomas Hitchcock, who was Titine's father.
