Hardcover. Condition: Near Very Good. No Jacket. Wilkin, Eloise (illustrator). 1st Edition. Little Golden book format with gold spine has minor rubbing. Corners a bit bumped, but square and tight. Previous owner name and 25c in ink on title page along with a note stating "Bought in Cuernavaca June 1960). English translation of text is neatly written above it in pencil. Copyright page in Spanish states this is a first edition of 30,000 copies. Back of book lists Pequenos Libros De Oro books - 8 Walt Disney books and 16 others, of which this one is #14 in the list. These Spanish language Golden Books are scarce. Author was wife of children's book author/illustrator Richard Scarry. The English version was published in 1953. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall 1st Printing Language: SPA.
