Solida ed elegante legatura coeva in mezza pelle, dorsi lisci con titoli su tasselli e fregi in oro. Esemplare fresco ed in eccellente stato di conservazione, come non è comune per questo tipo di opere. All'interno si trovano anche supplementi e fogli volanti. Si tratta delle prime due annate complete di questa interessante rivista che venne pubblicata fino al 1862 (fino al n. 1051) e che copre un periodo ovviamente decisivo per la storia d'Italia.

La Voce della Verità anno ottavo 1839 n 1159 a 1314 (pag. da 325 a 954) lievi fioriture ad alcuni numeri, al numero 1242 errore di stampa alla numerazione del foglio, complessivamente buone condizioni generali. La Voce della Verità, fu pubblicata dal 5 luglio 1831 al 28 giugno 1841: complessivamente 1548 numeri. Dapprima uscì due volte alla settimana, in seguito tre. Il giornale sorse per volontà di Francesco IV, Duca di Modena. Direttore, dall'origine fino al 22 settembre 1836, fu Cesare Carlo Galvani. Egli scelse come collaboratori il fratello Francesco, che dirigeva "L'amico della Gioventù", Marco Antonio Parenti e Pietro Cimbardi, addetto al Ministero degli Esteri. Fu segretario di redazione Bartolomeo Veratti; segretario generale e correttore don Luigi Palmieri. La gazzetta modenese sostenne polemiche, specie contro i fogli liberali, combatté aspramente la monarchia costituzionale di Francia e ne mise in rilievo, oltre che l'illegittimità, il danno proveniente da simile governo al popolo.
