Ex library, but with only one discreet stamp on copyright page, and scraped ffep and front pastedown which looks as if dockets have been peeled away, top corner of ffep also clipped away. Some edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners slightly rubbed, very slight lean, old tape marks to front and back endpapers and inside flap edges. Not price clipped (25s), no personal inscriptions, internally clean and tight, quite a respectable copy for ex library. 591pp. Three of Alan Hunter's (1922-2005) Chief Inspector George Gently detective novels, now filmed for the BBC with Martin Shaw in the title role.
