Some edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners slightly rubbed, very slight lean, old tape marks to front and back endpapers and inside flap edges. Not price clipped (25s), no personal inscriptions, internally clean and tight, quite a respectable copy for ex library. 591pp. Three of Alan Hunter's (1922-2005) Chief Inspector George Gently detective novels, now filmed for the BBC with Martin Shaw in the title role. Quite a scarce book.

Boards have a light dent in the top edge of the front panel, small bumps to the corners of the rear panel. There are light surface scratches running one inch down from the top edges of the front and rear panels. The page edges are browned with some spotting to the top edges. Some browning to the endpapers but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has a little edge and corner rubbing, slight browning to the rear panel and some light yellowish spots to the flaps. First printing.
