This May 7, 1937 issue, the best we've handled, of the Bridgeport Telegram features multiple headline reports on the front page as well as additional photos and reports inside, including a photograph of the Hindenburg in the air above Bridgeport just hours before it met its doom. Another photo shows the ship above Bridgeport during its 1936 voyage to the U.S. Some of the headlines read - "Zeppelin Plunges in flames.", "Many are Dying", "Blast is heard 15 miles away", "Yale man in leap to escape flames", "Hindenburg burst as though made of paper", and many more.
