- Gordon Ray, The Art of the French illustrated Book 1700 to 1914, n°22A : "Handsome and delightful book? Gravelot was thus enabled to present a joyous running commentary not only on Tasso's poem but sometimes on his own plates interpreting it. Without mocking chivalry, he makes it a source of sympathetic amusement".
Venetia, dal Sarzina, 1625, in-4°, 23,5 x 17 cm, copper engraved title page + (21) pp + 255 pp with 20 full page coper engravings printed on recto only, contemporary full vellum binding. Nice copy.
