Softcover. 1st Edition. Octavo Size [approx 15.5 x 22.8cm]. Very Good condition - with some minor marking and age-toning to covers. Illustrated with Colour and Black & White Photographs. B/w maps [incl mudmaps]. Signed by author. Robust, professional packaging and tracking provided for all parcels. 202 pages. The author set out to write the story of Deepdale but found it to be so inter-twined with other surrounding stations that the book was expanded to try and provide a more rounded picture.

Eloise and her husband were post war English migrants who took to the Australian bush as the proverbial duck to water. They lived in many places -Dirk Hartog Island and Deepdale Station being just two. This book covers the histories of stations Deepdale, Yarraloola, Mardie, Chinginarra, Warramboo, Red Hill, Yathala, Yalleen, Mt Enid, and Millstream, located in the Pilbara Region.
