After establishing "Der Sturm" the magazine, Walden founded the Galerie Der Sturm in Berlin, in which he exhibited works by many of the same artists featured in hismagazine. He also published several books through his Sturm publishing house. The 1912 Futurism exhibition was Der Sturm gallery's second exhibition. This exhibition catalog contains a German translation of F. T. Marinetti's Futurist Manifesto and other writings by theFuturist artists. Stapled paper wrapper with eight illustrations, with envelope and inscribed card signed by Hans [Bolliger], November '78. "The exhibition DIE FUTURISTEN took place just round the corner from where my mother lived with her parents in the Bendler-Strasse. Nodoubt she went to see the exhibition and bought the catalogue. That was 68 years ago. Somehow it found its way into my library." 7.375x5.75", 40pp, text in German.

Hardcover with dustjacket, 120 pages, in Italian; good condition; dj is yellowed with several small tears at edges and some loss around top of spine; book has 2-inch bump at upper left corner of cover, small tear ant top of spine and light crease to pages at top left edge; and another bump to upper right corner of cover small to 2-inch crease to all pages at upper right corner; warmly inscribed in Italian on half-title page to Mr Alfred H Barr Jr, dated Paris 5 Juin 1963 and signed by Gino Severini in blue ink; no other internal marks.
